Since 2002
Dr. Dawn-Elise Snipes is an ordained minister, Licensed Professional Counselor and Qualified supervisor who has been working with people with addiction, mental health and physical health issues since 2002.
She currently provides training to counselors, social workers and the general public through YouTube.com/DocSnipes to help professionals gain a more trauma-informed, holistic approach to recovery. She also provides lessons on practical, cognitive behavioral tools of the bible at YouTube.com/@RecoveryPERFECTS
Dr. Snipes was called to start Recovery PERFECTS because of the lack of trauma-informed fellowship options that address all issues, not just one particular thing. Inspired by the love of God, Dr. Snipes seeks to help each person in their journey toward a spiritual awakening as they reconnect with a community that follows Good Orderly Direction.
The Recovery PERFECTS Mission
Create a trauma-informed fellowship that is safe and welcoming for anyone who seeks to follow Good Orderly Direction as a way of healing from physical, interpersonal, emotional, or mental distress and creating a support system that builds each other up.
